To be honest this is one shot that I sometimes will miss, because somehow, the groom (or his driver) always drives like an F1 driver, arriving wayyy faster than me. But when I do arrive earlier, or if the couple waits for me, this is one of my favourite shots: The groom helping the bride out of the car when they arrive at a location. I think it is very gentlemanly and definitely something every guy should consider doing (this seems like opening a can of worms :p) but doing it once in a while makes the bride appreciative of her man!⁠

One of my favourite moments of a wedding day is actually just right at the start of the day (well almost), when the groom arrives (after much fanfare of the gatecrash tradition pre-COVID) and arrives to the bride's room. After going through some tough (and some embarrassing ones) tests, he unveils his prized possession... His bride! And the glow on the bride's face when that happens. Nowadays the bride is able to watch the whole session outside via video call, so she must have seen all the heroics of her groom. Always off to a great start on your wedding day!⁠
